Clifton C Cole is the owner of Cole Scheduling Services LLC. He started his business with 15+ years of experience in project scheduling. Clifton’s scheduling experiences include: aerospace, automated storage & retrieval systems, gas pipelines, hydropower generation stations and commercial construction. He has taught classes on the usage of Microsoft Project, Primavera (P6) and Critical Path Methodology.
Clifton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Management from Devry University Online. He achieved his certification from the Project Management Institute as a Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) February 2017. Clifton also has an Orange Belt Certification in Microsoft Project from International Institution of Learning (IIL) & a Green Belt in 5S/Lean 6 Sigma from ITT Industries.
As a senior scheduler, Clifton is responsible for CPM schedules, baselines and updating all levels of project development. This includes: understanding and accurately interpreting construction documents to assist in creating baselines, updating the schedule to current work progress, performing schedule comparison between current update vs last update vs baseline, running a Digger report to identify any logic changes and writing a CPM report to give an overview of the project’s status. He also trains new employees in theories of project management. The training consisted of: Critical Path Methodology, logic diagram creation & interpretation, Primavera (P6) application and Microsoft Project application.
Clifton has been the lead scheduler for commercial & government aerospace programs, natural gas pipelines and hydro generation power stations. He has managed commercial construction schedules. The commercial projects were: hospitals, jails, ice rinks, apartment buildings, senior living facilities, storage facilities and building renovation projects.
Clifton started his scheduling career in the U.S. Navy onboard nuclear-powered submarines. He was in charge of scheduling preventive maintenance for the weapons delivery system, torpedoes, missiles, small arms, and secondary systems in the torpedo room. Clifton was honorably discharged in 2003.
